[Archived] Police Investigate Robbery at 7-11 on Kenmore Avenue

The Alexandria Police Department is investigating the robbery of a 7-11 convenience store located in the 4600 block of Kenmore Avenue. 

Around 8:30 p.m., on Thursday, December 11, a man approached the checkout counter and handed the clerk money for several items. When the register opened, the suspect jumped up onto the counter and struggled with the clerk before grabbing cash from the register drawer. The suspect then fled the scene. The female clerk was not injured.

The suspect is described as a black male between 25 and 35 years old, 6', 210 lbs., with a shaved head and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, and black shoes.

The robbery was captured on surveillance video and can be viewed on the Alexandria Police Department’s YouTube Channel:  youtube.com/AlexandriaVAPD.
