The Stabler-Leadbeater Apothecary Museum will be closed December 3 through January 30 for repairs and restoration. Projects include roof replacement, plaster repairs, and repainting of the historic retails space. The repainting is based on a paint analysis and will return the room to its circa 1900 appearance when the watershed Food and Drug Act was passed, forever changing the American pharmaceutical industry. The Museum will be posting updates on its Facebook page to track the progress of the projects and plans to reopen to the public on Saturday, January 31.
