Final Opportunity to Join the Conversation: Resource Allocation and Cost Recovery Policy Sorting Workshops - Date Correction

The Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities (RPCA) has added a final opportunity to participate in a Resource Allocation and Cost Recovery Policy Sorting Workshop to its series of workshops. The final workshop will take place Thursday, November 13, 7-8:30 p.m. at William Ramsay Recreation Center, 5650 Sanger Ave., and will help shape how resources are allocated to programs and services. In 2013, City Council adopted the RPCA Resource Allocation and Cost Recovery Policy that provides guidance in aligning community needs with available resources and ensuring equity for all user groups. For additional information view the the City Council adopted Resource Allocation and Cost Recovery Policy.

At the workshop, the policy will be explained and categories of service will be sorted according to the amount of community benefit they provide. Spaces are limited, so please RSVP to Lyndon Murray at 703.746.5527 or Lyndon.Murray@alexandriava.gov. For your convenience, childcare and refreshments will be available.
