[Archived] Help Alexandria’s Children Keep Warm This Winter

The Fund for Alexandria’s Child invites the public to help children in foster care or at risk of abuse or neglect keep warm this winter through the annual Fall Coat Drive, October 1 through November 26. Donations of coats, hats, scarves, and gloves will help ensure that all Alexandria children can stay warm during the cold months.

This year, The Fund is participating in ACTion Alexandria’s new “Fall into Giving” initiative along with other Alexandria nonprofits. Individuals can donate through The Fund wish list on Fall into Giving website or by purchasing items elsewhere and dropping them off or having them delivered to: Alexandria Department of Community and Human Services, Attn: Community Resources Program, 2525 Mt. Vernon Ave., Alexandria, VA 22301

The Fund for Alexandria’s Child is a program of the Alexandria Department of Community and Human Services that works to enhance the quality of life of the most vulnerable children in our community. The value of any contributions is tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
