[Archived] UPDATE: Police Arrest Juvenile in Rape Investigation

The Alexandria Police Department arrested the suspect in this investigation on Friday, September 5, 2014. The suspect is a 17-year-old male resident of Alexandria. He is being held on a detention order for Rape and Forcible Sodomy.

Alexandria Police Investigate Rape

The Alexandria Police Department is investigating a rape that occurred on Sunday, August 31, 2014, between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. in the 100 block of S. Reynolds Street.

A 43-year-old woman went to a party at a bar and was then raped by a male that she did not know at the same location. Detectives would like to speak to the person in the attached photo. He was seen in the company of the victim and may have information related to this case.
