[Archived] Hooffs Run Park Playground Renovation to Begin Week of August 11

Pre-Construction Meeting Scgeduled for August 6

Weather permitting, construction will conclude in approximately eight weeks.  The renovation includes removal and replacement of play equipment, new rubberized safety surfacing, drainage improvements, and restoration plantings.

Construction activities require the closing of the playground. Visitors are encouraged to use nearby playgrounds located at Sunset Park, 4 Sunset Dr., and Beach Park, 201 Rucker Pl., during the construction.   For a comprehensive directory of City playgrounds, visit the Project Play website.

The Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities will hold a community pre-construction meeting to respond to any questions on Wednesday, August 6, 6:30 p.m., at the playground.  The meeting is cancelled in the event of inclement weather.
