[Archived] Del Ray Avenue Park Improvements to Begin Week of June 16

Del Ray Avenue Park, located at 1 East Del Ray Ave., will be under construction beginning the week of June 16. The on-site work includes installation of new pathways and a labyrinth area, which represent Phase 2 of the approved park plan. In the fall, when planting conditions are more favorable, new trees will be planted. The play area will remain open throughout the construction. Weather permitting, construction will conclude in two weeks.

This project is funded with contributions from the Del Ray Citizens Association in partnership with the City of Alexandria.
