The Alexandria Police Department will be holding a Promotion Ceremony on June 12, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at the Lower Level Roll Call Rooms of Police Headquarters, 3600 Wheeler Ave, Alexandria, VA 22304.
The Alexandria Police Department will be recognizing the promotions of 23 officers. The promotions include those of Deputy Chief Tammy Hooper and Deputy Chief Dianne Gittins, the first two women to reach the Deputy Chief level at the Department.
