The City of Alexandria is seeking nominations to the West End Transitway (Corridor C) Alternatives Analysis/Environmental Assessment (AA/EA) Policy Advisory Group (PAG) established by City Council on March 11. The nine-member PAG will review and provide guidance to City staff on tasks related to the Alternatives Analysis and Environmental Assessment including; definition of the project purpose and need, refinement of alternatives, evaluation measures and priorities, evaluation results and determination of the Locally Preferred Alternative, and results of the environmental analysis.
The PAG will hold its first meeting in June and will meet regularly at key points in the AA/EA process. The Advisory Group will retire upon submission of the Environmental Assessment document to the Federal Transit Administration.
