The Office of the Arts will host two Public Art Master Plan roundtable discussions on Wednesday, April 30, 7 p.m., at the Durant Center, 1605 Cameron St. These discussions are the second in a series of focused roundtables to gather information and opinions that will inform the consultants’ understanding of the nature of the community, public space and community arts, as well as the character and use of valued community spaces in the City of Alexandria. Refreshments will be served.
The City of Alexandria Office of the Arts is working with the team of Todd Bressi with Via: Partnership and Lardner – Klein Landscape Architects in developing a Citywide Public Art Master Plan. Individuals interested in discussing how public art, and the environment and urban design can work together are encouraged to attend these roundtable discussions.
