Alexandria Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred at the M&T Bank, located at 833 S. Washington Street. Around 12:55 P.M. on Saturday, December 28, 2013, a man entered the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money. The suspect fled after receiving currency. No one was injured.
The suspect is described as a black male, 40-50 years-old, approximately 6’ tall and 180 lbs. The suspect was wearing a gray hooded-sweatshirt and sunglasses.

Detectives would like to remind witnesses that they can remain anonymous.
