Alexandria Police Investigate Fatal Pedestrian Crash on Key Drive
Alexandria Police are investigating a pedestrian crash that occurred in the 1200 block of Key Drive on Sunday, November 10.
Preliminary investigation reveals that, at approximately 3:30 p.m., the victim and her husband were walking in the 1200 block when a car pulling out of a driveway struck the victim. She was transported by ground to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
At approximately 7:40 p.m., Suzanne Kominski, a 92 year-old City resident, was pronounced dead.
The Crash Reconstruction team is conducting the investigation.
