[Archived] Alexandria Police Make Arrest in Malicious Wounding
Alexandria Police have made an arrest in a malicious wounding that occurred on Tuesday, October 8, in the 5400 block of North Morgan Street.
At approximately, 6:00 p.m., officers responded for reports of a fight. Upon arrival, officers located a victim suffering from a stab wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. There were no other injuries.
Initial investigation revealed that the victim had arrived in the area with a group of friends. An altercation occurred between them and another group. During the altercation, the victim was stabbed.
As a result of this investigation, police arrested Farouq Abdullahi, 18, City resident and charged him with Malicious Wounding. The investigation is ongoing.
