[Archived] Prince William County Police Investigate the Theft of Alexandria Police Officer’s Gun

Prince William County Police are investigating after an Alexandria police officer's gun was stolen from his personal vehicle parked outside his home.

Sometime late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning, the suspect broke into the vehicle’s locked trunk and stole a M4 semi-automatic rifle, a radar gun and a MDB laptop computer. The MDB and radar gun were found a short time later. The M4 rifle has not been located. This was a department-issued weapon.
