[Archived] City of Alexandria to Extend Old Town Pool Operating Season

For Immediate Release: August 8, 2013  

The Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities will continue to operate the Old Town Pool, located at 1609 Cameron St., through Saturday, September 21, 2013. Beginning Tuesday, September 3, admission to the Old Town Pool is free for City residents.

Extended Operating Hours
Tuesday, September 3 through Saturday, September 21  

• Monday – Friday
  6 a.m. to noon
  4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
  Note: Labor Day, Monday, September 2: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Saturday & Sunday
  8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  Note: Pool closes at 12 p.m. on Saturday, September 21 to prepare for the Annual Doggie Day Swim
