[Archived] Psychologist to Discuss Impact of Violence on Children

What is the impact of violence on children, whether they see in on the news, in the neighborhood or in the home? Giordana De Altin Popiolek, a clinical psychologist with the Department of Community and Human Services who has worked with children and adolescents, will discuss this issue at a at a free community mental health event, Thursday, June 13 from 7 to 8:45 p.m. at the Charles Houston Recreation Center, 905 Wythe St., Alexandria 22314.
