[Archived] Alexandria Police Investigate Robbery at SunTrust Bank

Alexandria Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred at the SunTrust Bank, located at 3101 Duke Street. Today, at approximately 2:30 P.M., a man entered the bank, approached the teller, implied a weapon and demanded cash. The teller relinquished an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect fled the bank. There were no injuries.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6’0”. He was wearing a dark colored tee shirt and dark-colored pants.

Detectives would like to remind witnesses that they can remain anonymous.
