Interactive Seminar at Black History Museum

The Alexandria Black History Museum and Port of Harlem magazine host the Build/Renovate Your Own Castle V interactive seminar, on Saturday, April 6, 2013, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This biennial seminar is free and open to the public. Space is limited so reservations are required.
The event is for future and current home buyers, renters, and homeowners. The speakers will include James Jordan, the principal architect at Millennium Design Architects, and Noel Shepherd, Citibank Home Lending Specialist. Sherry Ways, an Interior Designer and author of Feel Good Spaces: A Guide to Decorating for the Body, Mind & Spirit will end the seminar with an interior design “game.” Light refreshments will be provided and door prizes will be awarded.
The Alexandria Black History Museum is located at 902 Wythe Street, Alexandria, Virginia 22314, in the Parker-Gray Historic District. The Museum is five blocks from the Braddock Road Metro Station on the Yellow or Blue lines. Street parking is available. To make reservations, call the Museum at 703.746.4356.
