For Immediate Release: February 21, 2013
You are cordially invited to attend Apollo Live on Friday, March 1 from 6:30-8 p.m. in the Kauffman Auditorium at the Lee Center, 1108 Jefferson St. This event is open to the public. There is a $3 suggested donation fee for adults.
Join us for a final salute to Black History Month! Watch the Kauffman Auditorium transform into the legendary Apollo Theater as each of the Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities’ Power-On programs sing and dance through the decades. Performances include Motown from the 60’s, Line Dancing from the 70’s, Pop music from 80’s, and much, much more!
