[Archived] Alexandria Circuit Court Seeks Applicants for Unexpired City Council Term

The Alexandria City Council, by resolution, has certified that a vacancy exists in the membership of council as a result of Councilman K. Rob Krupicka’s resignation. Any person who is interested in filling Mr. Krupicka’s unexpired term on the City Council is requested to submit a letter detailing their qualifications and reasons for seeking the position to the Alexandria Circuit Court no later than the close of business on September 25, 2012. In the event the judges of the Circuit Court desire to follow up in person with any such applicant, the applicant shall be contacted about scheduling an interview. It is the intention of the Court to appoint an individual who does not have an interest in seeking a permanent position on Council.
