[Archived] Alexandria Park and Recreation Commission to Hold Public Hearing on Beauregard Small Area Plan Open Space and Recreational Components

The Alexandria Park and Recreation Commission will hold a public hearing on the open space elements and related recreational components of the Beauregard Small Area Plan on Thursday, March 22, 7 p.m., at the Jerome "Buddie" Ford Nature Center located at 5750 Sanger Ave. After discussion on the proposed Beauregard Small Area Plan, the Commission will hear comments from City residents on any other park and recreation related issue not previously discussed in a public hearing by the Commission. The regular meeting of the Commission will follow.

Individuals who are unable to attend the public hearing can view the Beauregard Small Area Plan at https://www.alexandriava.gov/BeauregardPlan. Individuals may send written comments on the open space elements and related recreational components of the plan to the Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities, Attention: William Chesley, Deputy Director, 1108 Jefferson St., Alexandria, VA 22314, or e-mail william.chesley@alexandriava.gov.
