Washington and MadeiraToast George Washington on the weekend of his birthday celebration as you enjoy Madeira wine – his favorite drink – with him! Gadsby’s Tavern Museum, 134 North Royal Street, is hosting a Madeira wine tasting with Washington at 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 19.

Taste five Madeira wines produced by Blandy’s, a family-owned business since 1811. Learn how Madeira is produced as you taste these fortified wines with food pairings.
