[Archived] Update: Suspect Wanted in Felonious Assault Arrested in Pennsylvania


An investigation in the whereabouts of the suspect wanted in the felonious assault that occurred on Sunday, September 11 has led to his arrest in Pennsylvania last night.  Shaun Carlan, 44, was taken into custody and is being held at the Armstrong County Adult Detention Center pending extradition.

Alexandria Police Seek Public’s Help in Locating Suspect in Felonious Assault


Alexandria Police are asking for the public’s help in locating the suspect in a felonious assault case that occurred on Sunday, September 11.  Shaun Carlan, 44, is wanted in connection with the assault that occurred near Eisenhower Avenue.


On September 11, at approximately 2:00 a.m., Carlan took a known female victim into a wooded area between the 4600 to 4900 block of Eisenhower Avenue.  Carlan physically assaulted the victim and attempted to sexually assault her.  The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries.


Shaun Carlan is a white male, 5’11” and 200 pounds.
