Alexandria Mayor William D. Euille and the Partnership for a Healthier Alexandria are partnering to host the Second Annual “Top of the Town Walk Around” at the George Washington Masonic Memorial on Saturday, November 5. The event, planned in collaboration with Quantico Belvoir Regional Business Alliance, will be hosted by Mayor Euille and the Wounded Warriors. The “Top of the Town Walk Around” is being held in honor of Veterans Day and all those who have served.
This is a free event. Registration opens at 9:30 a.m.; the kick-off walk begins at 10 a.m., and activities for people of all ages and abilities continue through noon. Activities will include a stair climb and walk around the Masonic Memorial, games on YMCA’s PhD moving playground, workouts with CrossFit Old Town, an opportunity to meet with firefighters and to check out a fire truck, potato sack races, cardio boxing with Fit2Be, and raffle prizes.
