The City of Alexandria's will host the Annual Cambodian Community Day Festival on Sunday, August 21, from noon to 6 p.m. at Ben Brenman Park, 4800 Brenman Park Dr. Admission is free, and the event will be held rain or shine.
The festival features classical and folk dances, arts and crafts exhibits, live band, social dances and food and beverages.
The City's Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities, and the Cambodian Community Day Committee are cosponsoring the festival. Cambodian Community Day is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advocacy, preservation and promotion of Cambodian culture and heritage.
Limited parking is available at Ben Brenman Park, 4800 Brenman Park Dr., and at Armistead Boothe Park, 520 Cameron Station Blvd. The public is encouraged to bike, walk or take public transit to the event.
