[Archived] Hoof’s Run Park Basketball Court to Receive Color Coating

For Immediate Release: June 4, 2011

City of Alexandria contractors will perform work at the Hoof’s Run Park Basketball Court, located at 15 Mount Vernon Avenue, during the weeks of June 6 and June 13 to improve the court surface. Weather permitting, work could begin as early as June 6 and be complete in as little as three days.

The color coating process is weather dependent due to certain temperature and humidity level requirements to produce the best result. Residents will see equipment in use and crews at work during the daytime. The court will be available for light use when contractors are not on-site.
