The Charles Houston Recreation Center Soft Play Room Opens Saturday, April 30 at 10 a.m.

A “soft opening” of the Charles Houston Recreation Center Soft Play Room is scheduled for Saturday, April 30 at 10 a.m.   Soft Play offers young children ages 3 months to 4 years an opportunity to bounce, explore, jump, roll, tumble, twist and have rollicking fun in a colorful play space.   Parents and their preschoolers can share safe play zones loaded with soft toys and activities, while meeting with existing playgroups and make new friends.

Passes are available for sale for daily and multiple visits.  Daily themes, such as, “Let’s Get Ready to Tumble-e-e-e!!!!” (Staff Instructed Activity); “Mom, Dad & Me” - Evening Fun (Parent directed); and “Wee-e-e-e-e!!!” Weekends (Parent directed) along with the free play experience, are sure to mix imagination with learning for young children.
