[Archived] Public Meeting on Proposed Precinct Boundary Changes in Alexandria

The Alexandria Electoral Board will hold a public meeting at the Voter Registration Office on Thursday, April 28, at 7:00 p.m. to receive comments on a proposal to change precinct boundaries in two areas of the City beginning with the August 23, 2011 Primary Election.

The proposal would affect five precincts:

In the Del Ray area:

In the Old Town area:

The Voter Registration and Elections Office is located at 132 North Royal Street.

Residents who are unable to attend the meeting may submit written remarks in advance to the Voter Registration Office.  Remarks should be sent by mail to Tom Parkins, Registrar of Voters, 132 North Royal Street, Suite 100, Alexandria, VA 22314. Remarks may also be sent by email to tom.parkins@alexandriava.gov. Following the April 28 meeting, the Alexandria Electoral Board will make its final recommendation to City Council.
