[Archived] Simpson Dog Park to Receive Turf Renovation

For Immediate Release: April 19, 2011

Potomac Yard Development contractors will perform work at the Simpson Dog Park, located at 426 E. Monroe Ave., during the weeks of April 18 and April 25 to improve the turf on the top slope and perform other minor improvements. Weather permitting, work could begin as early as April 20. Residents will see equipment in use and crews at work during the daytime.

The upper slope of Simpson Dog Park will be closed until mid-June to allow the grass to establish. The lower portion of the dog park will remain open for use. Please be reminded that in order for the turf to establish, dogs must remain outside the fenced portion on the upper slope.
