[Archived] Mayor William D. Euille Presents the 2011 State of the City Address

Each year, the Mayor delivers the State of the City Address, which provides the public with information, insights, and inspiration on City accomplishments, challenges, initiatives, and other highlights.

This year, Mayor William D. Euille delivers the address in a new format: a 23-minute video, available at alexandriava.gov, on FacebookYouTube, and on City of Alexandria Comcast Cable Channel 70 at 8 a.m., 6 p.m., and 11 p.m., Mondays through Sundays in April. In this year’s address, filmed in neighborhoods and locations throughout Alexandria, Mayor Euille discusses topics such as the City’s quality of life, development, youth and education, transportation and the environment.  He also addresses several key issues of concern to the Alexandria community, including the Fiscal Year 2012 budget, BRAC-133, the planned Potomac Yard Metro Station development, and the T.C. Williams High School transformation.
