[Archived] Alexandria Police Investigate Bank Robbery at Bank of America Located on North Washington Street

Alexandria Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred this morning at the Bank of America, located at 600 North Washington Street.  Around 10:41 A.M., a man entered the bank, displayed a handgun and demanded money.  The teller relinquished an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect fled the area.  No one was injured.

The suspect is described as a black male, 30 to 40 years-old, approximately 6’0” with a thin build.  The suspect was wearing a two toned knit cap, dark jacket and dark pants.
