[Archived] UPDATE: Alexandria Police Identify Victim in Fatal Pedestrian Crash

The victim in last Friday’s fatal pedestrian crash has been identified as Toni Taylor, a 25 year-old Prince George’s county woman. 

Anyone who witnessed the crash or who has additional information about this case is asked to call the Alexandria Police Department at 703.838.4444. 

Alexandria Police Investigate Fatal Pedestrian Crash at the King Street Metro Station

Alexandria police are investigating a pedestrian crash that resulted in the death of a 25 year-old Prince George’s County woman.  The incident occurred at approximately 6:06 P.M. on Friday, December 17, in the parking lot of the King Street Metro Station.

Initial investigation indicates that the driver of a van was driving through the parking lot when it struck the woman.  Fire and Police personnel were immediately on scene.  The victim was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

Members of the Crash Reconstruction Team are investigating the incident.
