[Archived] City Council Invites Public to Provide Input on Fiscal Year 2012 Budget

Public Hearing on Saturday, October 16

The City of Alexandria anticipates Fiscal Year (FY) 2012, which begins July 1, 2011, to be another challenging year as it continues to strategically plan for its future. On Saturday, October 16, the public is invited to attend City Council’s regularly scheduled public hearing to offer comments regarding the upcoming budget and provide input on how the City should use its limited financial resources to meet its most important community goals, as indicated by the Strategic Plan.

The public hearing will be held in the City Council Chamber (Room 2400), in City Hall, 301 King St., and starts at 9:30 a.m. For more information, see the public hearing docket or call the Office of the City Clerk at 703.746.4550.
