[Archived] Alexandria Police Seek Help to Identify Suspect in Credit Card Theft

The Alexandria Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect wanted in a larceny of a wallet that occurred in the 200 block of South Van Dorn Street. 
On July 26, around 6:00 p.m., a woman’s wallet was taken from a grocery store.  On July 27, the victim’s credit card was used by a man at the Best Buy store in Vienna, Virginia. 

On July 31, the same man used the victim’s credit card at the AMF Bowling Lanes on N. Kings Highway in the Alexandria part of Fairfax County.  Pictures of the suspect were caught on two separate video surveillance cameras. 

The suspect is described as black, five feet eleven inches tall, with a medium build and short black hair.  In the first set of photos he was wearing a green Washington National’s hat with a white t-shirt and grey shorts.  In the second set of photos he was wearing a red DC hat with a white t-shirt and dark jean shorts.  He is wearing a silver watch in both sets of pictures.  He might be driving a black two door car.
