City of Alexandria Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities Announces Annual Recreation Facility Maintenance Closing Schedule for 2010
The Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities annually closes recreation facilities for cleaning and maintenance activities. Unless otherwise posted, facilities will be closed during normal operating hours as posted below.
- Charles Barrett Recreation Center, 1115 Martha Custis Dr.
Friday, August 20 at 6 pm
- Charles Houston Recreation Center, 901 Wythe St.
No facility closure, but a rolling closure of rooms for maintenance.
- Chinquapin Park Recreation Center, 3210 King St.
Monday, September 6 at 3 p.m. through Monday, September 13
- Cora Kelly Recreation Center, 25 W. Reed Ave
Monday, August 30 through Friday, September 3
- Durant Community Arts Center, 1605 Cameron St.
Monday, September 6 through Friday, September 10
- Lee Center (Administrative Offices), 1108 Jefferson St.
No facility closure, but a rolling closure of rooms for maintenance.
- Mount Vernon Recreation Center, 2701 Mt. Vernon Ave.
Wednesday, September 1 through Saturday, September 5
- Nannie J Lee Recreation Center, 1108 Jefferson St.
No facility closure, but a rolling closure of rooms for maintenance.
- Patrick Henry Recreation Center, 4643 Taney Ave.
Wednesday, September 1 through Friday, September 3
- William Ramsay Recreation Center, 5650 Sanger Ave.
Monday, August 23 through Friday, August 27
