[Archived] Music at Twilight Concert Relocated to Market Square on Thursday, August 12

The City of Alexandria continues to work to recover from the severe storms of August 5 which brought down trees throughout the City. As a result of storm damage sustained in Fort Ward Park, the Music at Twilight Concert scheduled for Thursday, August 12, will be relocated to Market Square, 301 King St. beginning at 7 p.m. All Scottish Night features performances by the NOVA Branch of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society and the Alexandria Pipes and Drums (Scottish Bagpipes and Pipes & Drums).

Visitors to the historic district are encouraged bike, walk or take the Metrorail Yellow or Blue lines to the King Street Station and take the free King Street Trolley to market Square. Parking is also available in one of the convenient parking garages or lots.

Bicyclists may visit www.alexandriava.gov/localmotion for the City's Bikeways Map, which features the City's best on-street and off-road bikeways, as well as locations of grouped bicycle parking.
