[Archived] City Introduces Pee Wee Power-On Summer Program

The Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities introduces Pee Wee Power-On Summer Program for children 5 years old entering Kindergarten at the start of the 2010-2011 school year.  Pee Wee Power-On is available at the Charles Barrett, Cora Kelly and Patrick Henry Recreation Centers, August 9 – 20 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., pick up no later than 6 p.m. Advance registration is required. The program fee $125.

Activities include Storytelling, games, arts & crafts, music, physical fitness and group play. In order to be eligible for the Pee Wee Summer Program, your child must be enrolled in an ACPS Kindergarten Prep Program, be willing to participate without parents being present and able to tend to his/her own restroom needs.  No transportation is provided and minimum of 8 children must be enrolled.
