UPDATE: Alexandria Police Identify Suspicious Death Victims and Suspect

Alexandria Police have identified the victim’s of today’s suspicious deaths as Seble G. Tessema, 27, and her 3 year-old daughter.

The suspect has been identified as Simon Bahta Asfeha.  Asefha is 34 years-old.  He may be driving a 1999 silver Acura with Virginia tags XKS-1522.  He is wanted for first degree murder.  Asefha had a prior relationship with Ms. Tessema and is the father of the child.

Alexandria Police Investigate Suspicious Death on S. Reynolds Street

Alexandria Police are investigating the suspicious death of two victims at 375 S. Reynolds Street.  Earlier today, around 10:30 A.M., officers responded for a report of a domestic incident.  Upon their arrival, they found the two victims deceased. An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause and manner of death. 

Police detectives are at the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
