[Archived] City Winter Storm Update: City Officials Urge Residents to Stay Home

The Blizzard Warning issued by the National Weather Service has been cancelled. The City remains under a Winter Storm Warning until Sunday morning.

As heavy snows continue to fall, road conditions are deteriorating and have made roads and sidewalks extremely dangerous. City officials are urging residents to stay home and not go out. "In order for our crews to effectively clear and treat the City's roadways, we need the cooperation of our residents," said Mayor William D. Euille, who, with City Manager James K. Hartmann, has been touring the City to observe the effects of the winter storm. "We ask that you stay home and enjoy the snowy day, while our crews work to make your City streets safe."
