Alexandria Police Seek Help to Identify Suspect in Holmes Run Parkway Robbery

The Alexandria Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects in an armed robbery that occurred in the 5300 block of Holmes Run Parkway. 

On November 23, around 9:30 p.m., a 72-year-old city resident was getting out of his car, when he was approached by two suspects.  One of the suspects displayed a handgun while the other suspect took the victim’s wallet.  The suspects then fled the area.  The victim was not injured. 

The first suspect is described as black, in his 20s, 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall, with a light mustache.  He was last seen wearing a raincoat with a hood and dark pants.  He was armed with a black handgun.

The second suspect is described as black, 20 to 25 years old, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, weighing 170 to190 pounds.  He was wearing a black hooded jacket or sweatshirt, blue jeans and black and white sneakers.  He is depicted in the attached photo.

Detectives would like to remind witnesses that they can remain anonymous.
