Alexandria Police Investigate Bank Robbery at TD Bank on South Van Dorn Street

Alexandria Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred earlier today at the TD Bank, located at 557 South Van Dorn Street. 

Around 3:16 P.M., the suspect entered the bank and approached a teller.  He implied he had a handgun and demanded cash.  The teller complied.  The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.  There were no injuries.

The suspect is described as an Asian male.  He was wearing a light-colored hat, light-colored blue jeans and a long-sleeve, gray sweatshirt with “Old Navy 94” written across the chest.

Detectives would like to remind witnesses that they can remain anonymous.
