Alexandria Police have identified the victim of yesterday’s homicide as Claros Luna, 40, of Prince George’s County. On Wednesday, July 29, at approximately 6:30 p.m., an officer was flagged down by a woman in need of assistance. Upon investigation, the officer located the victim’s body in a vehicle. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
An autopsy performed Thursday has determined the manner of death to be homicide. The cause of death is a gunshot wound to the upper body.
Alexandria Police Investigate Suspicious Death on Manor Road
Alexandria Police are investigating the suspicious death of a man found in the 700 block of Manor Road. On Wednesday, July 30, at approximately 6:30 p.m., an officer was flagged down by a woman in need of assistance. Upon investigation, the officer located the victim’s body in a vehicle. Detectives are on scene investigating the incident.
The victim suffered trauma to the upper body. An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause and manner of death. The unidentified victim is an Hispanic male.
