Alexandria Police Seek to Identify Armed Robbery from Person Suspect

The Alexandria Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect in an Armed Robbery from Person that occurred in the 200 block of South Pitt Street.  The robbery took place on February 7, 2009.

The victims, an Alexandria couple, report that at approximately 8:15 P.M., three suspects approached them and brandished a handgun.  The suspects demanded the couple’s personal property.  The victims complied and the suspects fled on foot.  There were no injuries. 

The suspects are described as black males, 17 to 23 years-old.

On February 8 and February 9, one of the suspects used gift cards that were obtained as a result of this robbery.  The suspect is described as a black male, 5’05”to 5’08” with medium length dread locks.
