[Archived] City Announces New Operating Hours for the Chinquapin Park Recreation Center

Effective January 5, 2009

The Department of Recreation, Parks, and Cultural Activities has announced that effective January 5, 2009, operating hours for the Chinquapin Park Recreation Center will change. The Center’s new operating hours will be

Monday –Thursday    6 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Friday                           6 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday    8 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Winter classes beginning the week of January 26, 2009, will continue as scheduled.

The change in operating hours is the result of the implementation of service reductions due to declining tax revenue and the current City wide financial challenges.
