UPDATE: Alexandria Police Investigate Homicide on South Van Dorn Street

Alexandria police have identified the victim of yesterday’s homicide as Juantissa Hill, a 24-year-old Alexandria woman.

Yesterday, around 2:30 P.M., police were called to the 300 block of South Van Dorn Street for a welfare check.  Upon entering the apartment, officers discovered the victim.  She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim’s vehicle, similar to that pictured below, is missing.  It is described as a Gray or Silver, 4-door, 2006 Nissan Altima, with tinted windows bearing Michigan registration, BDE 4058.
