Alexandria Police Investigate Robbery at CommonWealth One Federal Credit Union

The Alexandria Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred today at the CommonWealth One Federal Credit Union at 4875 Eisenhower Avenue in Alexandria.  There were no injuries.

At approximately 8:35 A.M., two suspects entered the bank and approached the teller. One suspect brandished a handgun and demanded money.  The teller complied and the suspects fled.  The suspects were last seen running on the Metro tracks along Eisenhower Avenue.  The suspect’s vehicle, a white Honda Accord, was located nearby.

The suspects are described as black males, 20 to 30 years-old.
