City of Alexandria to Hold Multicultural Health and Community Day
Saturday, September 27
The City of Alexandria will hold a Multicultural Health and Community Day on Saturday, September 27, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Cora Kelly Recreation Center, 25 W. Reed Ave. The festival features free health screenings and family activities, and is free and open to public.
From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., medical services will be available to provide cholesterol, glucose and vision screenings, blood pressure checks and other healthy lifestyle opportunities and resources. Entertainment will be available from noon to 5 p.m. featuring family games, music, a moon bounce, food, beverages and much more.
