Alexandria Marketing Committee Meeting Rescheduled for Monday, August 11

The Review Meeting of the Alexandria Marketing Committee, scheduled for Monday, July 28, has been rescheduled. The committee will now meet on Monday, August 11, at 8 a.m. in Sister Cities Conference Room 1101, City Hall (301 King St.).

The purpose of the meeting is to review applications for the Alexandria Marketing Fund, now in its second round of funding.
The purpose of the committee is to foster public/private cooperation and coordination among multiple businesses and organizations to promote Alexandria as a destination for visiting, shopping, dining and doing business; to leverage public dollars with private investment, and to bring increased revenues to the City of Alexandria. The Committee shall administer the marketing fund established by City Council and may make grants from such monies as may be available.
