State Air Pollution Control Board to Hold Meeting on Permit for Mirant

The State Air Pollution Control Board will hold a meeting in Alexandria on Wednesday, July 30 to consider the two-stack permit for the Mirant Potomac River Generating Station. This permit would incorporate the conditions of the recent agreement between Mirant and the City of Alexandria. The meeting will begin at 5:00 p.m. and be held at the Holiday Inn Alexandria, 2460 Eisenhower Ave.
