Alexandria Health Department Announces New HIV Testing Clinic Hours

The Alexandria Health Department announces new hours for its HIV Testing Clinic, effective immediately. The HIV Testing Clinic is available every Wednesday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., and every Thursday from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The clinic, located at the main Health Department Building (4480 King St.), offers free, anonymous and confidential testing. Residents who wish to use the Alexandria HIV Testing Clinic are not required to make an appointment or meet eligibility requirements. 


As a reminder, this Friday, June 27, Alexandria Mayor William D. Euille and the City of Alexandria’s Health Department will host a rally in recognition of National HIV Testing Day. The rally will begin at noon at Market Square in front of City Hall (301 King St.). At the rally, Whitman-Walker Clinic of Northern Virginia, K. I. Services, and staff from the Alexandria Health Department will also be available to provide free, confidential HIV testing.
